“Are You Right?: Capacity Building Program for Human Rights in the Business World,” supported by the Dutch Embassy, concluded in September 2013 with the Conference on Best Practices in Human Rights in the Business World. The project aimed at raising awareness on human rights in the private sector, and spearheading change by increasing the number of best practices as a result of awareness raising and supporting activities.

The project proceeded in three phases:

1) Education: 29 people from 6 companies participated in two-day “Trainings on Human Rights in the Business World.”

2) Implementation Guidance: Companies which participated in the trainings and which wished to implement best practices were given practical guidance for 6 months.

3) Conference on Best Practices in Human Rights in the Business World: In this last phase of the project, the Best Practices Conference was organized on September 25, 2013, open to all interested parties. Additionally, the Best Practices Booklet, which detailed the process and the examples of best practices in companies that received implementation guidance, was prepared and shared with the public.
