The purpose of the Gender Talks on Campus is to enable academicians from different faculties and programs to share their research and studies on gender with university members under the umbrella of Sabancı University. The first of this series of talks, which started in Spring 2014, was delivered in February by Ersin Kalaycıoğlu from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Kalaycıoğlu shared the findings of their research "Family, Work and Gender in Turkey" with Ali Çarkoğlu, Koç University faculty member.

Second talk of the series "Gender Justice and Science (Technology + Engineering + Medicine..): How?" was given by Alev Topuzoğlu from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. Within the scope of the speech, Alev Topuzoğlu conveyed how women were excluded from every level at any field, including technology, engineering, medicine, etc. and discussed solution proposals.
