In Memory of Dicle Koğacıoğlu and Ferhunde Özbay...

The winners of the Article Award, organized for 8 years in memory of our friend Dicle Koğacıoğlu, who passed away in 2009, in partnership with SU Gender and Sabancı University Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, will be announced this year with a panel held at Karaköy Minerva Palas on Saturday, 23 December. Before the panel, we will organize an event to commemorate our friend Ferhunde Özbay, who passed away in 2015, together with the Women’s Library. We would like to meet you at this event where we will commemorate Dicle Koğacıoğlu and Ferhunde Özbay and talk about their work. You can find the details of the program below.

Dicle Koğacıoğlu Article Award

Dicle Koğacıoğlu Article Award is an article award given by SU Gender in memory of our colleague, friend, sociologist Dicle Koğacıoğlu, who passed away in 2009, with the support of Sabancı University Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The aim of the award, which has been given since 2010, is to support gender-focused research on Turkey and to encourage young researchers.
