Deniz Gündoğan İbrişim’s EU Horizon 2020 funded project uniquely proposes a multidisciplinary conceptual and feminist methodological framework to conceptualize Anthropocene Trauma and Climate Grief from the Late-Ottoman to Modern day Turkey.
How can we increase our personal and societal awareness so that our work on gender is sustainable? What is the relationship between personal and societal transformation? How can we transform factors that prevent us from producing and creating together, like fatigue and burnout? The Transformative Activism program, which we began in 2017, brings together activists working on gender as well as civil society volunteers in order to seek common answers to these questions through projects focused on the body, awareness, and art.
